GlaxoSmithKline is considering deals to buy or work with Indian drugmakers, according to this article. In a Q-and-A, CEO Andrew Witty said the company will reduce the price of its drugs in India to extend its reach with low-income consumers. The drugmaker will also collaborate with local companies to cut production costs, Witty said.
